Did this for @page14crew presents Joystick Vol 1. “Nostalgia” which is a little book you should be keeping your eye out for. I may or may not do another piece for it.

Two things about Contra 3:

  • Stage 3 of that game might be the greatest run and gun stage ever made.
  • I always thought that the heart you inevitably fight at the end of many Contras was, well, a heart. Having drawn it, they kinda look like a pair of balls.
