It’s not often that I work in this no-line, no-gradients, no-effects style. I rarely do it and it kinda tends to be more work than my usual fare because of it but I definitely like the look of it.

This is the most I’ve channeled Toriyama, I think. If you know your Dragon Ball lore, you’ll see Bulma has the 5- and 2-star Dragon Balls which means, based on her clothes, this is the dawn of the day she meets Goku. That was the idea at least.

Don’t you think I’ve forgotten about this Darkstalkers series I started on. Turns out most Bishamon art out there has him with his sword pointed at so I kinda went for the exact opposite here. These characters are so much fun.
